00 Drawing Kizmyt
So you have a blank sheet of paper staring up at you. What must you do to create a cartoon? My intention here is to show you how you can do just that, draw a cartoon. And I do it by stepping you through the process of how I draw Kizmyt. This little tutorial is not intended to teach you how to DRAW, I hardly consider myself qualified to do that. Get books and teachers for art instruction. For about $10 you can easily get started. The items below show what I use and provide a convenient shopping list for those wondering what they can get me for my birthday or Christmas: Paper - 8.5x11, 24lb, 84-96 brightness, multipurpose paper. Pencil - Mechanical, 7mm #2 lead. Cheap plastic BICs are great. Eraser- Kneaded, it leaves no crumbs and lasts a long, long time. Pens - Pilot Precise V5 Rolling ball I store my completed drawings with sheet protectors in 3-ring binders. Of course, I also scan them digitally into the computer.
